The 7th annual National Day of Racial Healing is taking place on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023.

The National Day of Racial Healing (dayofracialhealing.org) provides an opportunity for individuals, communities and organizations to come together and acknowledge the values we share as people, build trust with each other, develop authentic relationships and inspire collective action on #HowWeHeal from the effects of racism.

The day represents a recommitment to racial healing for many and a launchpad for others just beginning their journeys. Whatever the day means to you, here’s one way you can get involved: Share your racial healing story on EveryChildThrives.com

There are powerful stories to share about change happening in individual lives, families, organizations and communities. Use your voice to share your story of transformation and inspire others. Check out this recent story from Minda Corso, digital communications manager at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, who shares how she’s used the art of gathering to bridge divides in her networks.

Submissions will be reviewed by the W.K. Kellogg’s communications team and considered for publishing on everychildthrives.com. Approved submissions are subject to editing for consistency and clarity. Submissions are being accepted on a rolling basis.

Share your story using the form below, upload a document or if you’re comfortable in front of a camera and would prefer to submit a video, we welcome your story in that format, too!
