Rich is a veteran journalist who has called New Orleans home since 2006. After 11 years as a politics reporter for The Times-Picayune, he led communications teams for the city's water management utility and its public school district before establishing his own communications shop. He now works with local and national organizations in education, immigration, government affairs and public policy focused on improving communities and everyone's quality of life. Writing compelling stories remains his favorite way to connect with people. He lives in the Irish Channel neighborhood with his family and enjoys his side projects as a portrait artist.
