Freedom Summer 60th anniversary: A conversation on healing through action

It has been 60 years since Freedom Summer, a project spearheaded by the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) to draw the nation’s attention to the violent oppression experienced by Black people in Mississippi trying to exercise their constitutional rights and register as many Black voters as possible across the state.
