People of color are expanding and growing giving on their own terms and in ways that are meaningful, relevant and appropriate for their communities. This transformation is expanding further through the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Catalyzing Community Giving (CCG) initiative.
Launched in 2014, CCG supports locally driven philanthropy by communities of color. A cohort of more than 30 creative, committed grantees work to engage donors, conduct research, and build organizational capacity to help people of color become agents of change for children and families in their communities.
Their stories are an inspiration and shift the narrative of what philanthropy is and who can be a philanthropist.
