La June Montgomery Tabron, WKKF’s president and CEO, is delivering the annual Bynum Tudor lecture at the Kellogg College at the University of Oxford at 12:30 p.m. EDT. on Thursday, June 23. Her lecture – titled Racial Equity 2030: Reimagining and building a future where every child thrives – is free and open to all, but registration is required. If you can’t personally attend the lecture in Oxford, England, you can view the livestream (or listen to the recording later).
La June took up her Bynum Tudor Fellowship – the highest honor Kellogg College bestows – in October 2020. Her lecture will describe a collaborative vision for the year 2030, and beyond, where all children can once again dream and have hope. She will share the racial healing journey and bold leadership skills that are required to reimagine an equitable future where all children, families and communities can truly thrive. She will also highlight the foundation’s Racial Equity 2030 challenge, a call for bold solutions to drive an equitable future for children, their families and communities
Kellogg – the University’s largest and most international College – was established in 1990 to enable life-long learning for full- and part-time graduate students.
